One of the best B&B's i've ever been to. Great hospitality, courtyard and nice owners. The busstop to Venice is right outside the door, so you've got the best of two worlds: a relaxed neighbourhood and a bustling city nearby.

This bed and breakfast was in a bright pink house and located underneath the owners haha. The guy was so nice and the place was great. But the location was far from venice. There were buses but they took a while and the schedule was not the most convenient. If you want to stay in a quiet place out of the city for most of the nighttime then i would definitely recommend this place.

Highly Reccomended B&B. Staff were excellent and only a short bus ride to the centre of Venice. Will definately stay again. Awesome place to Stay! Great for large groups or families, we only had 2 people and this place was very big. You have a whole apartment to yourself. Very clean the family that owns it is very nice. Definitely would come back.

This place was so great! i loved the bright pink house and the whole neighborhood. once you get there it is easy to find again, but getting off the bus the first time is VERY difficult... the buses in Venice are not very well labeled

The kitchen is well outfitted and very clean, and you're near a good market. Though we would have preferred a place on the island, you're not going to find a comparable price. The family is incredibly sweet, even offering to drive one of us to the airport when the bus did not show up! All in all, we had an excellent experience for what we were looking for - a relaxed and private place for a small budget, and a nice staging area from which to explore Venice.

Since Venice is a tourist-filled city, we didn't want to pay a lot stay on the island so we chose this location, which is about 20-30 minutes outside of the island (depending on what bus you take, #4 takes longer). We really like the place because we had our own kitchen, room, and bathroom and Giovanni was really nice! The directions on how to reach it aren't very clear, so I'm going to give some info on that: if you get there by train, you have to walk over to the bus area and then catch ...

The bus ride is about 20-30 minutes by bus, but during rush hour, about an hour. It's also fairly difficult to find so make sure you get clear directions. Other than that, its very nice and quaint. I enjoyed it.

This was the BEST place I stayed in Italy. It was a little challenging finding the B&B, just follow the alternate directions given. The B&B was very clean. There was a bus strike while we were in Venice, and the family volunteered to drive us into Venice, and pick us up, and were really accomodating. Stay here!!!

This is a fabulous apartment, with really friendly owners. They are really helpful, and even picked us up when we got lost on the way to the accommodation. It is really clean, and a realy relaxing place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There is a bus stop at the front of the building which takes you to the bus station in 20 minutes. The owners are really professional and made a huge effort to enusre we were comfortable. And a fine breakfast was provided with cooking facilities. And a well stocked supermarker nearby,

A great hostel! Very nice and helpful staff a big and nice apartment, you dont need to bring any sleping aquitment and there is towels. The only bad thing is that the buses stopp going at 1 in the morning but a taxi iant that expensive. I relly recomend this place

Never did we imagine that we would land in an appartment in Venice which guarantees serene atmosphere with utmost security and an easy way to commute to various tourist attractions in Venice. Indeed we were at the right place and the owner of the house <on the first floor> was very friendly and supportive, helping us with oodles of information that is worth for first timers in Venice. The bus stop is just opposite to the appartment and Bus No.19 takes you to Piazzale Roma in about 15/20 min where you could get on further using water boats.The breakfast was provided and the refrigerator is stuffed with the basic necessities .As a tourist you can relax completely after you return from the day long sight seeing as cleaning is taken care by them providing a very good hygenic atmosphere.I simply loved it and would definetely book the same place next time!!

"Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gepflegt und geräumig. Sie ist grosszügig eingerichtet und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Die Ausstattung übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Es war alles Notwendige vorhanden. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht und hatten trotzdem, Kaffee, Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer, Spüli,... im Haus. Sogar Spezialtäten aus der Region wurden uns angeboten. Gleich zu Beginn erhielten wir 2 Flaschen Wein, nachher noch Schinken. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut. Man fühlt sich sicher. Das Auto kann man im Hof gut parken. Da es an einer Hauptstrasse liegt hört man natürlich die Autos, was aber nicht wesentlich stört."

Wir waren 6 Nächte in diesem hervorragend eingerichteten appartment und können es absolut weiterempfehlen. Man hat viel platz, alles ist praktisch eingerichtet, super sauber und man kann wirklich gut kochen (gewuerze mitbringen!). Die vermieter sind hilfsbereit und nett. der bus nach venedig fährt vor der haustuer ab und braucht ohne stau 20 minuten.
eine prima alternative zu hotels und restaurant-essen! wenn wir nochmal nach venedig kommen, werden wir bestimmt wiederkommen!

This hostel was amazing for people who want privacy. It was our own apartment. Kitchen, bedroom, TV and very clean completely private! Also the owner picked us up from the train station! Excellent.

We loved staying at the BB-Venice with our 3 children (ages 9,10&11). The owners were very friendly and kind and made us feel very welcome. Our children got to play with the owners Beagle, which was a real added bonus. You could cook meals in the kitchen, another wonderful bonus. Also - great bus service from outside the apartment to main Venice area. It was wonderful to stay at BB-Venice and great value for money! Highly recommended, especially for couples or families :)

The place is very nice.It is close to Venice-centre, just a few stops with bus.
The breakfast is prepared for next day on the kitchen table so no need to get up early to have breakfast-you can have it any time you want:)
It is quiet and offers you a peaceful place for rest after walking, shopping, sightseeing in crowded Venice.
We highly recommend you to go there and have a weekend or more in Venice!

I recommend it. The owners were very friendly and had a lot of information for us: situation map with points of interests, time-tables and situation of buses (even they provided us with a pair of tickets for the first day!!). Very well furnised cooking room and excelent breakfast every morning. Safe parking space into the villa. EXCELLENT!!

Very nice place. Very friendly staff. The kitchen allowed us to cook which saved us a lot of money. Even though the main Venice island was a 15 minute bus ride away, the bus stop was directly in front of the house. Highly recommended for a trip to Venice on a budget.

EXCELLENT place to stay! Our fridge was restocked every morning with new juice, milk, and breakfast stuff, the owners were very friendly and spoke some English. They provided us with a map of the area and told us when things were open so we got a wonderful farmer's market. Wonderful place to stay for a longer vacation as it's out of Venice city center so it's great to unwind and relax but it does take about 15 minutes to get into Venice...definitely worth the ride. Word of caution: directions on site say second stop...you must wait until you see Via Altinia on the sign and then it will be the 2nd one. Highly recommended.

I am very late in writing this letter. I wanted to write it as soon as we arrived back in the States, but time has run away from me! We wanted to tell you again how grateful we were to have such a nice place to stay while in Venice. We really enjoyed your hospitality while there and enjoyed getting to know your family. Your son must come visit us here in Texas!
We are thinking very seriously about living in Rome for the summer and wondered if you knew of any way to find out about apartments for let. I have looked on the internet some, but can only find those that are more expensive and more suitable for vacationers. We are seeking not to be on vacation, but to live as the Italians do. If you can think of any way to help us, it would be most appreciated.
Again, thank you for such an enjoyable stay at your BandB and we hope that we can stay in contact with you. If we come to Rome for the summer, maybe we will come for a visit.

Nice helpful owners. Good communications. Very clean room completely separate from owners quarters. The son of the owner speaks good english. The owner can speak french or english Hotel very well situated. 20 minutes to Venice by bus. Bus stop in front of the hotel. This place is a gem. As a family we often go self-catering and are sometimes disappointed. In this case, however, everything was very much as or better than advertised. We thought we were getting a B&B in a family house but what is provided is actually a new self-contained flat. The bedroom was large with a TV. There was also a radio plus CD player which made us regret for not bringing our CD's with us.The bathroom was modern with a shower, nice washbasin and bidet and shower. Loads of towels were provided, much to our surprise and the rooms were cleaned every day . The provision of a kitchen for our exclusive use sounded too good to be true but it really was as advertised. The breakfast (neatly arranged every day) was continental and more-or-less on par with that we were given at a three-star hotel in Venice. As visitors from England we could have done with a kettle, tea pot and tea cosy though! Another surprise was a small patio with table, chairs and sun umbrella outside. The bus stop to Venice was about thirty yards from the flat. There were two fast(about 20 minutes) buses to Venice every hour but the slower buses ran more frequently. All members of the family were friendly and helpful. We recommend this place!!
