The history of our eco-friendly.

We are a typical Italian family consisting of parents and 2 children. Way back in 2002 we opened a small B & B, it worked, we wondered: what if extending the work?

My husband and I, very advanced environmental sustainability , we started thinking about it in 2004 .. hours to six years after our dream has become reality. After a careful design, revised several times due to fast changes and supply of technology for environmental sustainability have achieved what is still the first and only example of genuine saving energy and zero emissions of CO2 for what concerns the B & B at least in Province of Venice.

This was possible thanks to:

• wooden house in the class "A" performed with full-thickness panels X-lam wood and covered with all recyclable materials and environmentally friendly. The thermal transmittance "U" is equal to 0.14 W / mqk,
• aluminum windows and doors Schüco high technology with triple-glazing with venetian blind Electric inserted in the cavity U-value = 0.90 W / mqk
• noise reduction of 50 dB and 63 dB windows on side walls, 55 dB between rooms,
• 8.2 kWp photovoltaic system that produces about 10,000 kwh per year more than sufficient for the B & B and for our home,
• solar thermal plant with a 750 liter tank hidden.
• Heating and cooling only works with renewable sources (photovoltaic and solar thermal), we have a heating system with condensing boiler generation only possible need for emergency.
• And topped with light bulbs, home automation system general control systems, satellite-TV content for info and descriptions, which came with a badge, etc. differentiated waste collection.

Start of construction: November 5, 2009
B & B Opening : June 1, 2010
Total square meters completely renovated: 120
Total square meters of new construction: 100
Costs: not a little but less than you might imagine.

To do so, in the year under review there were not many experts in the field of "energy", so we had to study and learn, sometimes to explain to the little tricks and variations installers to get the most from our sources. Everything had to be done considering even the smallest detail leaving no stone unturned tantomano leave it to chance. This led us to become experts in the field even now continuing to work completed to date with new technology now known.

We offer our guests to better explain the technologies used and how much still exists in the market for eco-and then improved the quality of life in our country mistreated.
